ARE YOU PLANNING A BIRTHDAY FOR YOUR CHILD?
THIS BIRTHDAY PARTY PACKAGE IS JUST FOR YOU!
4-10 years old

Celebrate your child's birthday with NO HASSLES and NO STRESS! Let the Cypress Recreation and Community Services' staff help organize and run your party so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the day.

Birthday Party will include: Birthday cake, ice cream, pizza, juice, invitations, 3 games, and 1 craft. Decorations will include streamers, wall decorations, personalized banner, and more! Optional: Balloon arrangements are an additional $30 cash only.

Parties are for children 4-10 years old. Parties are provided for up to 24 guests. Younger children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Remember: All those attending the party must be in the final count.

Skate Park at Veterans Park Rules

Helmets, elbow pads and knee pads REQUIRED

Skateboards and in-line skates only

No bicycles, motorized vehicles, scooters or pedestrians allowed<

No use of alcoholic beverages, drugs or tobacco products

No graffiti, stickers or littering

Skating in the surrounding park is prohibitied

Glass products are prohibited

No unauthorized pieces of equipment, obstacles or apparatus

Profanity, loud music, bad behavior and recklessness is not permitted

This skate plaza is for recreational use only and is not intended for pedestrians.

Skating is a hazardous activity; skate at your own risk!

Tennis Court Rules & Regulations

City of Cypress tennis courts may be used free of charge.  City conducted tennis programs have priority over all other uses and requests.  Only the game of tennis shall be allowed on courts.  Special uses of the tennis courts requiring a permit from the Recreation and Community Services Department are as follows:

1. Tennis Instruction
2. Tournaments
3. Any other usage requiring exclusivereservation for more than one tennis set.

Rules

1. The ethics of tennis and sportsmanship shall prevail.

2. Only persons wearing tennis shoes shall be allowed on the tennis courts.  No street shoes, wheeled shoes, bicycles, or wheeled vehicles of any type may enter the tennis courts.

3. When others are waiting and no courts are available:
a. Courts may not be held by one person alone.
b. One set of singles or doubles may be played with one hour maximum.
c. Sets resulting in six all shall be determined by one additional game.
d. Waiting players must remain in person at the outside entrance of the tennis courts for next available court.  No courts can be held nor can priority of right to use the court be established by the placing of a racket or the like on a court.
e. Warming up for matches must not exceed five (5) minutes.
f. Playerswho do not wish to play a set may instead rally for 30 minutes, after which the court must be relinquished.

4. Pets are not permitted on the courts at any time.

5. A maximum of six (6) balls shall be used on any court, except for City approved tennis instructors.

6. Professional tennis instruction will only be permitted by City authorized instructors.

7. The following items are prohibited in and around courts: alcoholic beverages, glass containers, smoking or amplified sound.

8.Players are expected to accept City staff's interpretation of the above rules or decisions on the above stated rules.

LIGHTED HOURS: DUSK TO 10:00 P.M.
