OC California Race Series
Challenge yourself by finishing in consecutive order any combination of 5K/10K/Triathlon events in each of the cities of Cypress, Los Alamitos and Seal Beach to receive a unique and coveted medal!

Location & General Directions

Cypress Civic Center, 5275 Orange Avenue. Located off the 405 and 91 freeways at Valley View Street, west on Orange Avenue. The Center is home to the Cypress City Hall, Council Chamber, Police Station and Library.

Parking - FREE!

Important: Arrive early! Parking will be available at the Cypress Civic Center, Cypress High School, and LDS Church.

The 5K & 10K Race Course

This fast, flat course makes its way through beautiful Cypress neighborhoods, finishing in front of the picturesque Civic Center.

Schedule of Race Day Events

Check-in / Registration: 6:00-7:00 a.m.
5K & 10K Race start time: 7:30 a.m.
Cypress Community Festival: 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast: 7:00-11:00 a.m.

Registration Fees

Run: Early registration: $25 (postmarked by July 8)
Late registration: $35 (as of July 9 - Race Day)
Walk: $20 (non-competitive, does not qualify for OC Race Series)

Prize Money

Top 3 overall finishers in 10K for both male & female:
1st place $1,000 male/female
2nd place $500 male/female
3rd place $250 male/female

* Checks will be available on Monday, July 25 for pick up or mail.

Cypress Community Festival

The Cypress Community Festival is held at Oak Knoll Park behind the Cypress Community Center, just a short walk from the finish line and features a pancake breakfast sponsored by Kiwanis Club, a Chili cook-off, car show, food booths, games, children’s rides, arts & crafts, a beer garden, 200 vendors and all-day live entertainment.
