The
Los Alamitos Race Track and Golf Course Redevelopment Project
Area was
adopted by the Agency Board on June 18, 1990, and consists of approximately
318 gross acres of land bound by Cerritos Avenue and Katella Avenue to the
north and south, respectively, and Walker Street and Lexington Drive/Deni Street

Project Area Description
The site currently consists of the Los Alamitos Race Track and associated uses, a golf course, a new 180,000 square foot office building and available vacant land and streets. An assessment district for financing construction of infrastructure improvements was recently established in order to further facilitate the development of the project area. Land use and development standards are set forth in the Cypress Business and Professional Center Specific Plan.
