Council Member Leroy
Mills is serving his first term on the Cypress City Council.
Council Member Mills holds a Bachelor
of Science Degree in the Arts, Sciences, and Literature
from the United States Military Academy at West Point,
New York. He attended graduate school at Rochester Institute
of Technology in Rochester, New York, followed by one year
of executive training at Eastman Kodak. Council Member Mills
served 20 years of active duty in the Air Force, retiring
as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1984. He further served our
Nation another 20 years in the Department of Defense with
employment at TRW, Martin Marietta, and his final 10 years
as an Independent Contractor/Consultant. Council Member
Mills has served as a Church Board Chairman, and Bible
Study host/leader. He is a member of the Cypress Chamber
of Commerce, a former Cable Commissioner, and a graduate
of the Cypress Citizens Police Academy.
He is currently representing the City of Cypress on the
following boards and committees:
