The Senior Citizen’s Commission meets at 3:00 p.m. on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Cypress Senior Center.
The Senior Citizens Commission shall act as a community forum and advise the City Council on all matters pertaining to the concerns of senior citizens, including, but not limited to, recreational opportunities, current and expanded social services; low-cost housing, federal, state and local legislation, use of the City's senior citizens center; senior citizens programming in other communities, donations to senior citizens programs and other revenue sources which are or which may be available to provide funding for city programs for senior citizens.
